Have I Been Naughty Or Nice?
Friday, December 30, 2005
Naughty, definitely.
Looking at the past few months, all I can remember were...
... a lot of office gossip
... nasty jokes
... muffled laughters and silent snickers
... mean ploys
And all these evilness has to do with just one person...
Just because she was mean to others.
That, and because with her, common sense is not common after all (hence, the muffled laughters and silent snickers).
On another level of naughtiness, my alcohol consumption quadrupled this year.
Why am I airing my dirty laundry in my blog?

King Kong
Thursday, December 29, 2005
So everywhere, I've been hearing that King Kong is a great movie and women claimed that they were moved to tears.
Now I easily cry while watching tear jerking movies-- heck, even a Johnson and Johnson commercial once made me cry-- but King Kong?
Seriously, not even a single sniffle or a slight lip wobble came out of me. I just couldn't get why Ann Darrow was sooo attached to that damn monkey!
Oh, not that I've seen the original version but one scene I'm glad that they didn't remake is the one where King Kong tried to peek at the girl's boobs by pushing the neckline of her dress with his finger! I was very young and barely recall seeing the movie but I remember that scene and it was just so disturbing! A gigantic monkey and a woman the size of his finger? Eew.
Oh, and here's a little trivia for you...
Andy Serkis had 132 sensors attached to his face so that his every facial expression could be captured and shown on King Kong's face?
Who is Andy Serkis? He provided the voice and facial expressions of Gollum/ Smeagol in Lord of The Rings (Yes, care of the sensors again).
Can't place a face on Andy Serkis? He plays the cook on the boat in King Kong. Yup! That one. The one with one eye shut.

How We Spent Our Christmas Eve
Tuesday, December 27, 2005
I'm still too
tamad to blog so go
here to read how my family spent Christmas eve.
Thank God for sisters who are in the mood to blog.
PS. My sister Cami describes our Christmas eve dinner as simple yet yummy. There's nothing simple about roast beef and roast pork, mashed potatoes and macaroni salad! I always love Christmas dinner at my lola's!
